Our Story
Three chapters. One mission. A decade in the making.
The Pioneers
SendSeven is led by three managing directors who together shaped the European messaging industry at WhatsBroadcast, MessengerPeople, and Sinch Engage: Maximilian Tietz (co-founder of MessengerPeople), Boško Babović (previously eCircle, Teradata, Mapp Digital), and Kai Viertel (previously ProSiebenSat.1, fischerAppelt). Together they bring over 10 years of expertise in messaging infrastructure, MarTech, and automation. They were there when the WhatsApp Business API first launched in Europe.
We built the tools that let thousands of European businesses communicate professionally on WhatsApp for the first time. We watched this market grow from experimental side projects to mission-critical infrastructure.
The Problem
But we also saw the problems. Outdated platforms became too complex for small teams and too expensive for growing businesses. Developer APIs were an afterthought – all interface, no flexibility for technical teams.
AI and automation couldn’t advance fast enough because every innovation had to fight through years of accumulated technical debt. The industry had split into two incompatible camps – enterprise suites that ignored developers, and developer APIs that ignored teams. No one was serving both.
SendSeven is the platform we wished we'd had ten years ago: one communication solution, one price per message. Not for Amazon. But for 95 percent of the German mid-market.
